Can I use a metal stainless steel/Inox spoon for honey?
Because honey is an acid, the honey would theoretically react with metal, with the exception of precious metals such as gold. As a result, the honey could indeed absorb some negligible metal ions. However, since the honey is only on a honey spoon for a very short time, this is generally not considered an impediment to using a metal honey spoon. The metal will not affect the taste and also the honey spoon will not oxidize because it is made of high quality stainless steel/inox.
