Segeberger Wärmemeister 230V

This Segeberger bottom board 230V/50W with a built-in heating element can be digitally controlled from the outside. You can adjust the temperature via an adjustable thermostat. By combining this bottom board with 2 hive bodies and a roof, you can easily create your own warming cabinet and heat honey. You can hang hive frames in it or place a honey bucket inside and control the temperature inside the cabinet yourself. This warming cabinet can be used for both simplex frames and German Normal frames.

How does it work?

Place an empty hive body above the Wärmemeister bottom board (this serves as a buffer), and above that place a body with frames (both honey super and brood box frames are possible). Then close the stack with a cover.

We recommend setting the thermostat to 25°C and leaving the cabinet for a few days. This allows the honey to warm up as naturally as possible. Once the honey is at temperature, you can start uncapping and extracting.

For decrystallizing, the temperature can be set higher, preferably not above 45°C.

Note: this component fits both simplex and German Normal Segeberger hives.
