This cassette crank from the brand Lega is 850 mm wide and is a solid and ideal model for the beekeeper with hives with larger size windows such as Dadant Blatt, Dadant and Dadant US. The cassettes eliminate the need to rotate the windows yourself. Turning the crank direction is sufficient or just let the automatic program of the crank do its job. The honey crank accommodates 4 Dadant (Blatt) brood chamber windows or 8 honey chamber windows. The larger size has the advantage that larger brood chamber windows can also fit in with ease. The controls are simple but effective. The crank can run the automatic program where time and power can be set but it can also be operated manually. The height of the barrel is about 75 cm. The motor is at the bottom. This has the advantage that it stays nice and clean and the lids can be opened far. This crank has a warranty of 2 years.
