Bees, fascinating, essential and endangered (Book)

Bees. Until recently, they were mostly mentioned in the same breath as flowers when it came to reproduction. Today, bees are increasingly synonymous with mortality.

Honey bees have been loved since time immemorial for the honey they produce. They also used to be useful because of the wax with which the bee makes its comb, which humans used to produce candles or to make boats or kitchen utensils waterproof. However, the main function of bees is the pollination of flowers. If the bees disappear, then a lot of flowers will no longer be pollinated. Not only in nature, but also in our fields and orchards.
