Roof for the Simplex hive in Belgian format, made of excellent quality pine wood, with a cover/plate of galvanized metal for excellent protection. The end edges are concealed which prevents moisture from soaking into the wood. To preserve your equipment, we recommend priming the hive parts and painting 2x or treating thoroughly with linseed oil.
