Italiano Red Cedar savings hive hives
We have different types of wooden hives for you, the beekeeper. In this category you will find the red cedar wooden hives for the Simplex window size, model savings hive. Red cedar is a light, durable and beautiful type of wood and is widely used among beekeepers. Red cedar can be treated with linseed oil and/or propoleum but you can also use this type of wood untreated. We have complete cabinets as a set in a basic composition but also sets that are very extensive and luxurious, with for example a gabled roof and glass cover shelf. We have several options. The Simplex windows fit both the red cedar saving cabinet and Simplex cabinet. The savings closet is one that has two sides that are not double-walled. A (double-walled) Simplex hive consists of two containers: an inner and an outer container. So in this hive you have an outer and an inner rim (-chamber). Nowadays, especially the savings hive is widely used. In this category you will also find the red cedar parts and the red cedar easy grip hives.
