  Invert sugar

  Invert sugar, what is it? Invert sugar is a mixture (syrup) consisting of equal amounts of simple sugars, namely glucose and fructose (grape sugar and fruit sugar) and water. Most of the sucrose (table sugar) is split up during production so the bees need fewer enzymes to convert the sugar to simple sugars. That's how you help the bees. Invert sugar you give to the bees to get them through the winter.

  Invert sugar, as for example from the brand [product id=1352]Invertbee[/product], [product id=4626]API-invert[/product] of [product id=4998]BeeBoost[/product] is used as a syrup feed for the bee population. So what is invert sugar? A very fine food source of sugar for bees!

  You can buy invert sugar from our webshop [page controller="index"]www.[/page]. Here you will find all ready-to-use invert sugars in different quantities and packaging. Thus we have packaging of 14, 16 and 28 kilo of sugar syrup. It is also possible to make your own invert sugar. You just need to add water to (powdered) sugar. Then mix 1 part water with 1 part [product id=1421]poedersuiker[/product] or regular sugar. Make sure the added water is cold/warm to HMF (hydroxymethylfurfural, a substance toxic to bees), prevent.

  Sugar Dough

  A common question is: what is sugar dough? [category id=281]Suikerdeeg[/category] is a mixture of powdered sugar and little water that is often given to bees as a temporary food source. It is intended to help bees during periods when there is little or no nectar and pollen to be found due to no "gestation plants" blooming or the weather being too cold for bees to forage. For 1 kg of sugar dough mix 900 grams [product id=1421]powdered sugar[/product] with 100 grams of water. In some situations, you could also add some of your own honey. In that case, make sure you own honey of the bees used to prevent foul brood or other infections. To make 1 liter of sugar water use 800 grams of sugar and 500 ml of water. For large quantities, it is recommended to use a [category id=139]suikersmelter[/category] to use.

  Proteinfoder för bin

  Bin är flitiga insekter som naturligt söker föda för att försörja sitt samhälle i bikupan eller halmkupan och lägga upp vinterförråd i form av honung. En viktig del av deras diet är [category id=282]protein[/category], som de behöver till yngelboet för att föda upp larverna. Proteinhittar du bl.a. i blommornas pollen. Tillräckligt med protein ger friska bin. Vid för lite protein minskar binas motståndskraft, med ett svagare bisamhälle som resultat. Att stödutfodra med extra protein och vitaminer är därför viktigt när ditt samhälle är svagt eller när tillgången på naturligt protein från pollen är begränsad. Stödutfodring stärker ett bisamhälle snabbt.
