Deluxe solar wax melter made of black-painted, waterproof plywood, fitted with a top of double glazing. The outside dimensions of the solar wax melter are 67 x 52.5 cm. Even more important are the internal dimensions. The internal space for the frames measures 53 x 47 x 5 cm. This makes the wax melter very spacious. The wax melter comes with a metal melting tray and a metal wax collection tray. Per batch you can melt about 4 Simplex brood box (brood chamber) hive frames or 6 Simplex honey super hive frames.

Tip: for a longer service life, you can give this solar wax melter one extra coat of paint.

Steam wax melter that combines the robust SteamMaster II (Dampfmeister) steam generator with a stainless steel tank and stainless steel inner basket. A small pipe provides wax drainage. After melting, the old hive frames can be easily removed from the tank using the inner basket. The tank holds 10-12 (simplex) brood box frames and about 11-12 Dadant brood box frames. Dimensions: 420 mm diameter and 630 mm high; steam is supplied from above.

Stand for a DIY solar wax melter or for one of the solar wax melter boxes from our range. The stand can be disassembled and allows the box to rotate to track the sun. Note: most melter boxes are supplied without a stand!

The three legs are made of stainless steel and the rod and mounting plate are made of galvanized steel. The legs are 50.5 cm long and 5 cm wide.

The stand is supplied only with the bolt and nut for the stand (so no screws etc. to mount it to a base on which you can place the solar wax melter).

Hot-air melter that heats the air from 30 up to a maximum of 120 degrees. The melter can be used to decrystallize honey in buckets or in frames. It used to be used to melt wax as well, but we advise against this; the manufacturer does indicate that it is possible. It holds 19 brood box (brood chamber) frames or 28 honey super frames, and about 11 Dadant Blatt frames. The melter is made of 0.8 mm stainless steel. The round vessel has handles; the power is 2 kW. The inner vessel height is 42 cm and the diameter is 45 cm. If you let the frames stick out slightly beyond the basket, the maximum height is 57 cm. The outside diameter of the vessel is approximately 500 mm.
