The Apidea mating nuc box is made of an insulating material and comes with 3 hive frames. During setup, a plastic cup of bees is added. At the back there is a feeder that can be replaced by 2 extra hive frames.

You can easily attach this chamber to the box to create more space for the colony, or to keep 2 colonies in 1 box. To house a second colony separately in this chamber, you only need a cover plate.
