The Top Bar Hive Basic, made of wood, is a Top Bar Hive produced from good standard-quality timber for self-assembly. A great Top Bar Hive at an excellent price. This hive is ideal for the handy beekeeper who likes to let the bees build their own honeycomb (in a Top Bar Hive, the bees use only as much space as they need) and wants to start with a Top Bar Hive at a budget-friendly price. Because the Top Bar Hive is delivered in parts, you can also nicely treat it first with [product id=841]oil[/product] or [category id=134]varnish[/category] before you assemble it. Fitted with two observation windows, which may have small cracks near the screws.

The pine Top Bar Hive is the hive for the novice beekeeper who prefers to let the bees build their own honeycomb. The bees use exactly as much space as they need. This product is made especially for Imkershop to extremely high quality standards.

The Top Bar Hive (TBH) hive is made of beautiful knot-free pine, true premium-quality wood. The wood is in principle FSC-certified (subject to availability from the timber supplier). It may therefore be the case that some parts are not FSC-certified.

Stainless steel mesh is used. The 23 bars (top bars on which the honeycomb is drawn out) are made of spruce, and by adding a small piece of honeycomb or a strip of beeswax the bees will draw the honeycomb in the correct direction.

The hive comes with an attractive wooden lid with a wooden rim and includes a stand to place the hive on.
